Lately going over my facebook news feed i see "got a flat tyre.FML" "didn't get paid.FML".So much negativity.

Too many people focus on everything that is going wrong in there life,without stopping to actually being grateful for what they do have.They only see the present problems and not the big picture.

The problem is that when things are given to us over and over, we start taking them for granted or we forget about appreciating what we have.

So my challange to everyone is to take some time every day to sit down and go over everything you are grateful for,say thanks for everything you have in your life and I guarantee you will be happier about everything that comes your way.

I will leave you with another quote "We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude".

Played In My first major Poker tournament-Anzpt Sydney

spent a lot of time with zach...Tuesday i was a stay at home dad

Got to watch and play with some awesome poker players

Found out I was going to be a dad again..(its a another boy!)

Try to do and see lots of new and exciting things such as watching opur first roller derby

Launched Pro poker patches specializing in suppling stick on patches for companies in teh poker industry

Registered For a 200Km Ride To fundraise money for cancer research

Continued to spend alot of time on my companies especially buyashed

Wow...what a year..Probally missed lots of stuff and other stuff i could have probally included but they will do for now...Hope everyone had an awesome 2010

If i get through day 1 and 2 I will play day 3 the following saturday in queenstown

Will be my second anzpt event for the year after playing sydney a few months ago.I am looking forward to it and beleive i can do well.

I was Very nervous and felt this effected my game a bit ,so looking forwarded to my next big event (Melbourne  poker champs) where I feel I will be more comfortable.

Most Memorable hand was on day 1 where I was in the Pot with pocket Fives and the flop came down King, Five, Five. It was checked my first player, then me and the third player checked. A 9 came on the turn and the first player made a pot size bet which, I thought about and decided to flat call and the third player called also. The River card Came a 3.. The 1^st player then pushed all in for about 12,000 .I didn’t have to think about this as I had the absolute NUTS (best hand possible) .I pushed all in for my 15K and the 3^rd player folded. The 1^st player showed 99 for a turned full house but was eliminated by my quad fives.

I had a great time and hope to continue to increase my tournament schedule over the coming months.
